Clubs and Organizations

What sounds interesting to you? We offer everything from the Film Club and a Mariachi Band to the Rock Climbing Club and Warrior Investment Club. Whether you want to enjoy the great outdoors, volunteer with your friends, or hone your skills, there’s a way for you to pursue your passion at WLC.

    Ambassador Club - strives to provide the best possible experience for our visitors by accurately and positively representing our school.

    American Choral Directors Association - promotes singing on campus and in the community; anyone who loves singing is welcome to join.

    American Sign Language Club - engages members in learning sign language and the deaf culture; strives to teach so members can incorporate sign language into their everyday lives.  

    Archery Club - trains shooters in the sport of archery, allowing students to learn and improve on a skill that requires patience, focus, and persistence. 

    Art Club - promotes Christian leadership through activities in the Fine Arts; open to all WLC students.

    Breakfast Book Club - encourages reading for fun with the crazy schedule of college students.

    Car Club - provides a place on campus for car enthusiasts to share their love of cars in a fun and non-judgmental environment. 

    Center for Urban Teaching - identifies, prepares, and supports high preforming urban teaching.

    Classical Music Club - attends professional and collegiate musical performances; promotes appreciation for classical music through campus events.

    Creative Writing Club - inspires students who use the medium of creative writing by exposing them to like-minded individuals and opportunities that can support and aid their craft.

    Enactus - chapter of an international organization of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable world.

    Film Club - watches movies, discusses movies. and makes movies.

    Future Teacher's Education Association - FTEA is a local chapter of NEA that is designed to provide networking opportunities, support education students, and guide students through the education program at WLC.

    German Club (Spaß mit Deutsch) - provides opportunities for students at any level to increase their German-speaking abilities, as well as offering opportunities for fun cultural activities.

    iGem - student research team that competes in a biotechnology completion; exists to provide excellent collaborative leadership experience in an international setting.

    Investment Club

    Knitting Club

    Love Your Melon - an apparel brand dedicated to giving a hat to every child battling cancer in America as well as supporting nonprofit organizations that lead the fight against pediatric cancer.

    Minor Adjustments - a female a cappella group that preforms on and off campus.

    New Friends - students have an opportunity to interact with mentally challenged and disabled people; meets the second Thursday of each month, during which time they play games, eat dinner, and have devotions with clients.

    Outdoor Recreation Club - provides opportunities for relaxation, adventure, service, and a whole lot of fun in the great outdoors.

    Performing Arts Club - attends performances; no acting required.

    Psychology Club - promotes, integrates, and models the science of psychology in light of God’s inerrant word.

    Rock Climbing Club

    Sisters in Service - a group of females who join together for support, guidance, and spiritual growth in a social, relaxed way.

    Spanish Club - plans events that promote speaking in Spanish and Latin American events.

    Student Athletic Advisory Committee - gives intercollegiate athletic teams representation and a voice in the organization of athletics at the college.

    Student Nursing Association

    Table Top Role Playing Game Club - provides a rich Christian environment in which one can play/learn to play table top role playing games. 

    The SWORD - student newspaper that serves as the voice of WLC students; provides news via a printed newspaper, website, and social media.

    Ultimate Frisbee Organization - provides WLC students with the opportunity to play Ultimate Frisbee in a relaxed and friendly environment.

    Warrior Association for Software Development - advocates, collaborates, and promotes an understanding of the software development process for those students interested in computer science or other related field through a team oriented approach to software development.

    Warriors Helping Others - assists the surrounding communities through service work, volunteering, and fundraising for those who need it; serves to help students establish connections with local organizations.

    Yoga/Zumba Club - provides a healthy option of exercise to all students who decide to participate.
