Returning Student Housing Application

The form below should only be completed by CURRENT Wisconsin Lutheran College students who are applying for on-campus housing during the 2022-2023 academic year.

  • Wisconsin Lutheran College offers housing to full-time undergraduate students. WLC requires students to live on campus through their third year after high school, with the exception of those who have been approved by the Office of Student Life to be a commuter (see the Commuter Application for Returning Students). Students who knowingly and intentionally violate the college's residential policy will be charged $2,500 for each semester living in violation of the policy.

    By completing the contract below and submitting your $100 housing deposit (submit deposit via your myWLC account or by mailing a check to WLC), you are guaranteed on-campus housing for the 2022-2023 academic year (August 26, 2022-May 22, 2023), minus the shutdown periods (December 23-January 1). The submission of this contract indicates that you accept the terms of residence and that you intend to abide by the policies and regulations of the college. WLC reserves the right to change your selected residence at any point to maximize occupancy.

    Special requests for housing based on health, medical, or mobility issues should be submitted to the Office of Student Support and Disability Services. In consultation with the Office of Student Support and Disability Services, the Residence Life staff will work to meet the documented need for housing accommodations within the residence halls. Submit housing accommodation requests and documentation to Karen Sitz (, 414.443.8797), Director of Student Support and Disability Services, prior to April 15. 

    Personal-property insurance is available to college students through NSSI. For more information, visit their website. WLC encourages its resident students to carry appropriate personal-property and/or renters insurance. WLC is not responsible for damage or theft of students’ personal property, including money.

    NOTES: Meal plan changes may be made at no charge through the first two weeks of classes each semester (drop period), but no changes are allowed after that point. All block meals expire each semester but meal points expire only at the end of the spring semester.

    Your residence hall/apartment/house reservation fee will be held as a deposit toward your housing costs.

    Wisconsin Lutheran College assumes no responsibility for failure to perform any terms or conditions of this contract due to circumstances beyond its control.

    Wisconsin Lutheran College and Residence Life are not liable for property belonging to residents which may be lost, stolen, or damaged in any manner that may occur on the premises. Residents assume total liability for any injury, damage, property loss, or expense resulting from modifications to the room completed by the residents. Personnel of the College may order the immediate removal of room for modifications found hazardous to personal safety or that pose a fire hazard. Decisions regarding safety or fire hazards are made exclusively by Residence Life and/or Facilities Management personnel.

    When force majeure* occurs, the College may find it necessary to temporarily or permanently relocate a resident. The College will provide additional instruction/guidance and details upon such occasion.

    *Force majeure: Wisconsin Lutheran College will not be liable in cases where Wisconsin Lutheran College is unable to fulfill any services because of fire, natural disaster, national emergency, act of God, act of government, acts of war or terrorism, failure of suppliers or subcontractors, labor disputes, public health emergency, communicable disease outbreak, or any other reasons that are beyond Wisconsin Lutheran College’s control.
