Accelerated 3+3 Dual-Degree Program for Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree

For students interested in a career in law, Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC) offers an accelerated 3+3 pre-law dual-degree program with Marquette University Law School (Milwaukee, WI). The agreement allows students to obtain a bachelor's degree from WLC and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Marquette University Law School (Marquette) in only six years.

  • Eligible students enrolled in Wisconsin Lutheran College's pre-law program may take classes for three years at WLC, and, having satisfactorily met the requirements for admission to Marquette University Law School, take an additional three years of classes at Marquette, graduating with both a bachelor's degree in a major field of study from WLC and a Juris Doctor degree from Marquette.

    Accelerated 3+3 Pre-Law Dual-Degree Program

The dual-degree agreements provide WLC students with robust pre-law preparation, while providing an accelerated route to a Juris Doctor degree. The pre-law program prepares students to successfully develop the necessary skills to earn a competitive score on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and obtain entrance to esteemed law schools, allowing students to graduate with a bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor degree in six years, one year earlier than typical.
